CANCOM: Significant increase in revenues and earnings

– Consolidated Group revenues, preliminary: EUR 1,161.2 million (plus 13.5 percent; 2016: EUR 1,023.1 million)

– Consolidated Group EBITDA, preliminary: EUR 84.5 million (plus 15.9 percent; 2016: EUR 72.9 million)

– Consolidated Group EBITA, preliminary: EUR 69.7 million (plus 17.1 percent; 2016: EUR 59.5 million)

Munich, Germany, 12 February 2018 – CANCOM SE announces preliminary key figures for the financial year 2017. Accordingly, CANCOM Group has continued to grow significantly with double-digit growth in revenues and earnings . The fourth quarter showed increasing growth dynamics.

With preliminary consolidated revenues of EUR 1,161.2 million in the full year 2017, CANCOM Group reported growth of 13.5 percent compared to previous year’s revenues of EUR 1,023.1 million. “The continuing demand for our products and solutions shows the need for investments of companies, especially due to the increasing digitization efforts, and the attractiveness of the CANCOM portfolio” said Klaus Weinmann, CEO of CANCOM SE.

In 2017, preliminary Group EBITDA increased by 15.9 percent from EUR 72.9 million up to EUR 84.5 million (EBITDA margin: 7.3 percent; 2016: 7.1 percent). Regarding preliminary Group EBITA, CANCOM achieved an increase of 17.1 percent up to EUR 69.7 million.

In the fourth quarter of 2017, CANCOM Group generated preliminary Group revenues of EUR 352.3 million after EUR 305.4 million in the same period of the previous year, that is an increase of 15.4 percent. With EUR 29.0 million, preliminary Group EBITDA grew by 28.3 percent compared to the already strong fourth quarter of the previous year (Q4/2016: EUR 22.6 million).

CANCOM will publish its full audited annual and consolidated financial statements for the financial year 2017 on 28 March 2018.
