In accordance with the Act on the Equal Participation of Women and Men in Leadership Positions in the Private and Public Sector, the shareholders’ meeting and the Executive Board of CANCOM GmbH set a target for the proportion of women on the Supervisory Board and in the Executive Board on 30 June 2017, with a deadline for achievement of 30 June 2022 in each case.
The shareholders’ meeting set a target of 0 female members out of a total of 3 Supervisory Board members for the proportion of women on the Supervisory Board of CANCOM GmbH. This target was achieved in the reporting year 2021. When filling the positions, emphasis is placed primarily on the particular competence and qualifications of the candidates. For the proportion of women in the Executive Board, the shareholders’ meeting has set a target of 0 female members out of a total of 3 members of the Executive Board. This target was reached in the reporting year 2021.
Furthermore, on 30 June 2017 the Executive Board of CANCOM GmbH set a target of 16.00 per cent for the proportion of women in the first management level below the Executive Board and a target of 13.89 per cent for the proportion of women in the second management level below the Executive Board, both to be achieved by 30 June 2022, which are intended to give the Company the necessary flexibility in filling management positions. The above-mentioned targets for the proportion of women were again not achieved for both management levels in the reporting year 2021, after they were last achieved in the reporting year 2019. This was due to organisational changes within CANCOM GmbH.
